Our Story
Every stitch has a story — and ours began decades ago, with a mother’s dream and a daughter’s vision.
Our Founder, Sunita Rana, discovered her love for designing and stitching at a young age. Her artistry turned simple fabrics into timeless pieces. After years devoted to her family, her children —Arjun Singh Rana and Dr. Prerna Rana — encouraged her to bring her passion back to life.
Thus, Lucknow Suits was born — as a heartfelt revival of her creativity and craftsmanship. What started as a small, homegrown initiative has grown into a platform celebrating Indian elegance and dancer-inspired designs that embody grace, strength, and beauty.

A self-taught designer and the creative heart of Lucknow Suits, Sunita Ji’s journey began with a needle, thread, and an unshakable passion for creating. With a background as a former sports player and an unwavering spirit of dedication, she brings discipline and soul to every creation Her dedication to quality craftsmanship and her deep understanding of traditional aesthetics form the foundation of our brand.
Dr. Prerna Rana – Co-Founder
A professional Kathak artist and educator, Dr. Prerna brings her artistic sensibility and vision to Lucknow Suits. Having grown up watching her mother’s creativity, she bridges classical artistry with contemporary fashion, ensuring each collection reflects grace, culture, and individuality.She is leading Lucknow Suits into the digital world, curating collections inspired by the poise and artistry of Indian dancers.
Kavita Rana - Fashion Designer
A professionally trained designer with a background in fashion and textile design, she brings structure, styling, and trend sensitivity to the brand. Her expertise in garment construction, pattern development, and fabric detailing ensures every piece meets the standard of modern elegance while preserving its handcrafted essence.
